Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie (born 10th December 1987) is an American journalist and sportscaster. She is a reporter for Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's passion for stock car racing started when she was issued with a pit lane pass, and , after graduating from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a reporter for Langley Speedway. She garnered attention after self-made videos about NASCAR were released on stock car racing website SceneDaily. Vincie was born on the 10th of December the year 1987 in Harrisonburg. She was born in Bridgewater, Virginia before her family relocated from Warrenton to start Vincie's high school. Vincie is the granddaughter and daughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her maternal grandfather who was part of Bridgewater's faculty. Since her early years she showed an interest in journalism. Vincie graduated from Fauquier High School in 2006. She participated in track and field competitions, as well as worked as a coach for the school's wrestling team for four years. She won the 800 meters event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie met the journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and also provided Vincie with a large amount of information. Vincie graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2010 with an undergraduate degree in communications. Vincie was an intern for the athletics division of the university. She also worked for Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie penned a senior thesis about auto racing gender disparity which specifically focused on Danica Patrick, a female race car driver. She began to become interested in racing after she received an access pass to pit lane for the NASCAR All-Star Race. She credits Krista Voda and Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
