Yvonne Joyce Craig

Yvonne Joyce Craig, May 16, 1937 from May 16, 1937 until August 17, 2015. Craig was an American dancer and actress popular for her performances as Batgirl in the 1960s' TV series Batman and Marta, Marta, the Orion slave girl Marta who appeared in the Star Trek episode "Whom Gods Deceive" (1969). The Huffington Post called her "a pioneer in female superheroes in television." Yvonne Craig was born in Taylorville, Illinois, and was raised in Columbus, Ohio. Her family relocated in 1951 from Illinois to Dallas. She attended W. H. Adamson High School in Dallas as well as Sunset High School. However she didn't finish her education because she had only "one credits for PE". Craig was identified by Alexandra Danilova (a ballerina and teacher) and joined the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, becoming its youngest corps de ballet member. It was a great training that helped her perform stunts in the role of Batgirl. In 1957, she left the ballet company because of an issue regarding casting changes. Then, she moved to Los Angeles with the hope of continuing her dancing career. However, she soon found herself in film roles. Her first TV appearances was on the TV series Perry Mason ("The Case of the Lazy Lover") in 1958 with Neil Hamilton. Hamilton later played the role of Batgirl's stepfather Commissioner James Gordon. She appeared in three films following the show, The Young Land, The Gene Krupa Story and Gidget (all 1959). She also guest-starred in the TV series Mr. Lucky, as Beverly Mills, in the episode "Little Miss Wow", also 1959. Craig was a part of Bing Crosby in High Time (1960) as well as in Seven Women from Hell (1961) was a co-star with Cesar Romero. In 1962, she appeared on the Western Laramie in the episode "The Long Road Back".Craig was in roles alongside Elvis Presley in two films which included It Happened At the World's Fair (1963) and Kissin Cousins (1964). She also appeared as a Russian ballet dancer opposite James Coburn in Mars Needs Women (1966).

Morgan was born July 2, 1989 , to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. Morgan was raised by her parents in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Morgan played many sports throughout her youth, but did not favor soccer until she was 14. Following high school, Morgan joined the Cypress Elite club team. They took home the Coast Soccer League Under-16 championship and came in third place in their under-19 bracket. Morgan continued to train at Diamond Bar High School, where she worked on her soccer abilities.
