Melanie Jayne Lynskey

Melanie Jayne Lynskey (born 16 May 1977) is an New Zealand actress. She is known for her humorous, soft-spoken, but strong characters, and works predominantly in films that are independent. She's been honored with an New Zealand Film Award as well as a Hollywood Film Award as well as the Sundance Special Jury Award. Lynskey was a teenage murderess who made her film debut in Peter Jackson's Heavenly Creatures (1994). After making the move to the United States, she built an acting career by playing supporting roles in a range of small- and big-budget films, including Ever After (1998), Detroit Rock City, But I'm a Cheerleader (both 1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), Abandon, Sweet Home Alabama (both 2002) Shattered Glass (2003), Flags of Our Fathers (2006), Away We Go, Up in the Air, The Informant! Leaves of Grass (all 2009), Win Win (2011) and Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, The Perks of Being a Wallflower (both 2012), They Came Together (2014), and Don't Take a Look Up (2021). Lynskey's role as the lead in I Must Go I Must Go (2012) earned her critical acclaim and also an award nomination for the Gotham Award for Breakthrough Performer. This was a crucial stage in her career. She has been a prominent actor in the American independent film industry through her later roles in Happy Christmas. We'll Never Have Paris. Goodbye To All That (all 2014), The Intervention. Rainbow Time. Little Boxes. I'm Not at Home in This World. And Then I Go. Lady of the Manor. (2021). Lynskey is also well-known for her character of Rose in the television series Two and a Half Men (2003-2015). She was the main character on Togetherness from 2015 to 2016, and she received a nomination from Critics' Choice Television Awards as the best Supporting Actress. Morgan was born July 2, 1989 , to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. Morgan was raised by her parents in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Morgan played many sports throughout her youth, but did not favor soccer until she was 14. Following high school, Morgan joined the Cypress Elite club team. They took home the Coast Soccer League Under-16 championship and came in third place in their under-19 bracket. Morgan continued to train at Diamond Bar High School, where she worked on her soccer abilities.
