Kim Cattrall

 

Kim Victoria Cattrall, born 21 August 1956 is a Canadian actress from British Columbia. She is best known for her part in Sex and the City's Samantha Jones (1998-2004), in which she received five Emmy Awards as well as four Golden Globe Award nominations. In 2002, she also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Artistress. In the movies Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010), she reprised the part of Samantha Jones. Cattrall first appeared in Rosebud (1975) before she began to appear in diverse roles on television. She gained acclaim in the late 1980s in films like Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984), Hold-Up (1985), City Limits (1985), Big Trouble in Little China (1986), Mannequin (1987), Masquerade (1988), Midnight Crossing (1988) and The Return of the Musketeers (1989). Tribute (1980), Porky's (81), Turk 182(85), and Baby Geniuses (999) were only a few occasions in which she appeared alongside Bob Clark. Her other film credits include The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country (1991), Split Second (1992), Above Suspicion (1995), 15 Minutes (2001), Crossroads (2002), Ice Princess (2005), My Boy Jack (2007), The Ghost Writer (2010), and Meet Monica Velour (2010).

Morgan was born July 2, 1989 , to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. Morgan was raised by her parents in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Morgan played many sports throughout her youth, but did not favor soccer until she was 14. Following high school, Morgan joined the Cypress Elite club team. They took home the Coast Soccer League Under-16 championship and came in third place in their under-19 bracket. Morgan continued to train at Diamond Bar High School, where she worked on her soccer abilities. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) selected Morgan to be an All-American Athlete.
