Parents are the Russian economics Tatyana Semenovich and Gregory T. the Director of the Fur Company. She was ill as a young child and was admitted for six months to the hospital. The doctor diagnosed him with Rheumatoid Arthritis. The skating career he had together with Denis Samokhin was what made him famous. In 1993, the pair were ranked 8th at the Junior World Championship and in 1994 they finished 7th. She was in 1994 briefly partnered in a brief partnership with Maxim Kachanov. They were ranked 5th at the Goodwill Games. She then joined forces along with Vladimir Fedorov. Both were successful with the partnership, as they each took home the Finlandia Trophy and participated in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Their partnership was a success as they managed to accomplish much more than they could by themselves. But the most memorable part of the partnership came when they placed 15th overall in the World Championships 1998.
